Using Vet Aftercare

Terms of Use

These terms govern access to Vet Aftercare websites and evaluation services. A separate pilot, subscription, or customer agreement may apply to product use.

1. Acceptance

By accessing a Vet Aftercare website or service, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you use Vet Aftercare on behalf of a clinic or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

If you do not agree, do not use the website or service. Vet Aftercare is operated by Likwid Games Ltd.

2. Services and clinical boundaries

Vet Aftercare provides software intended to help veterinary clinics prepare clinic-authored recovery plans, share private owner and caregiver access, collect structured updates and media, review exceptions, communicate with context, track milestones, and retain a recovery record.

Vet Aftercare does not diagnose an animal, prescribe or change medication, determine whether a wound is safe, medically clear a patient, replace a veterinarian, or provide emergency care. Clinics remain responsible for medical judgment, care-plan content, review expectations, escalation instructions, and communications with pet owners.

Pet owners must contact their veterinary clinic or an emergency veterinary provider for medical questions, urgent concerns, or emergencies. The website contact form is only for Vet Aftercare product and account enquiries.

Website images, demonstrations, and descriptions may show previews or planned capabilities. Availability may vary by release, pilot, location, or provider configuration. Unless confirmed in a signed agreement, website content does not guarantee that a particular feature will be available at a particular time.

3. Trials, pricing, and subscriptions

Self-service clinic trial

Your 30-day trial begins when you create your clinic through the application. No credit card is required to start the trial.

The trial does not automatically become a paid subscription or authorize a charge. If the clinic chooses to continue, a separate customer agreement or confirmed checkout will state the price, currency, taxes, billing interval, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms before payment is collected.

Published prices

The website currently shows founding-clinic prices in USD and CAD. Annual pricing saves 17% compared with twelve monthly payments. Prices exclude applicable taxes unless the applicable agreement or checkout states otherwise.

We may change published pilot or subscription offers for future customers. A confirmed written agreement controls if it conflicts with this website.

4. Accounts, clinic responsibility, and customer data

You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential, maintaining accurate account information, and ensuring that authorized users follow applicable terms. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

The clinic retains ownership of information and files it or its authorized users submit to Vet Aftercare. The clinic grants us the limited rights necessary to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that information to provide and secure the service.

The clinic is responsible for having the authority, consent, and permissions required to submit patient, pet-owner, caregiver, clinical, communication, media, and payment information and to send recovery links or messages through the service.

The clinic is also responsible for ensuring that its care plans, escalation instructions, staff review practices, and owner communications are clinically appropriate and comply with professional and legal requirements that apply to the clinic.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Vet Aftercare to:

  • Break the law, violate professional obligations, or infringe another person’s rights.
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with the service or another user.
  • Attempt to access another clinic, workspace, account, patient record, or restricted system without authorization.
  • Scrape, probe, reverse engineer, or security-test the service except where permitted by law or written authorization.
  • Send spam, deceptive messages, unlawful content, or medical guidance you are not authorized to provide.
  • Use the service in a way that creates an unreasonable clinical, privacy, security, or operational risk.

We may investigate suspected violations and restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect clinics, pet owners, patients, the service, or others.

6. Ownership and feedback

Vet Aftercare and its licensors own the website, software, branding, documentation, interface designs, and related intellectual property, excluding customer data. No rights are granted except the limited right to use the website and services under applicable terms.

If you provide feedback, you permit us to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission. Third-party services and links are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the website and any evaluation or preview services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

Vet Aftercare is a workflow and communication tool, not a substitute for veterinary judgment or emergency services. To the extent permitted by law, Likwid Games Ltd. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of the website or preview services.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, these provisions apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law. A signed customer agreement may contain different warranties, remedies, and liability limits.

8. General terms

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a separate agreement states otherwise.

If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. We may update these terms by posting a revised version and changing the “Last updated” date.
