1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Vet Aftercare websites, applications, and related services that link to it. Vet Aftercare is operated by Likwid Games Ltd. In this policy, “Vet Aftercare,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Likwid Games Ltd.

A veterinary clinic generally controls the patient, pet-owner, caregiver, recovery-plan, and clinical workflow information entered into its workspace. The clinic’s agreement with Vet Aftercare and its own privacy practices may also apply. Pet owners should direct requests about a clinic-controlled recovery record to that clinic first.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Contact information such as your name, work email, clinic name, and message.
  • Clinic account, location, team, role, subscription, and workspace details.
  • Patient and pet-owner information entered by an authorized clinic, including recovery cases, care plans, tasks, restrictions, observations, milestones, and follow-up details.
  • Owner and caregiver check-ins, consent choices, messages, task history, photos, videos, and other files submitted through a recovery case.
  • Information included in support, pilot, billing, privacy, or security requests.

Information collected automatically

When you use our websites or services, we may receive device, browser, log, authentication, security, and usage information. The contact form uses limited submission checks and pseudonymous rate-limit records to reduce abuse.

Optional ad measurement

With your permission, we use Google Ads measurement on our public marketing website and an isolated clinic-signup confirmation page to understand which ads lead to clinic signups. Declining does not affect your trial, account, or access to care.

If you allow measurement, Google may receive advertising click and cookie identifiers, browser and device information, your IP address, limited public-page information, a clinic-signup conversion, and an opaque event identifier used to prevent duplicate signup counts. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, form contents, raw clinic or patient identifiers, owner access links, or recovery records to Google Ads. Enhanced conversions, automatic form collection, analytics and personalized advertising are not enabled by this measurement setup.

Google’s first-party advertising cookies can connect an ad visit on vetaftercare.com with a completed signup on app.vetaftercare.com. We do not load advertising measurement in clinic workspaces, private owner or caregiver pages, check-ins, photos, or clinical support views. Google also processes measurement information under its own Privacy Policy and explains how it uses information from sites that use its services.

We save your choice in a first-party cookie named va_ads_consent, shared by our website and application, for 180 days. This preference cookie remembers both acceptance and decline. Before acceptance, and after an initial decline, we do not load Google Ads measurement or send measurement requests to Google.

You can change or withdraw your choice through Cookie preferences in the website footer. Withdrawal stops future measurement and removes accessible first-party advertising cookies; it does not erase information already sent. Google’s advertising cookies have their own retention periods, which may differ from our preference cookie.

3. How we use information

We may use personal information to:

  • Provide, maintain, secure, and improve Vet Aftercare.
  • Create and administer clinic accounts, roles, workspaces, and subscriptions.
  • Deliver clinic-authored recovery plans, owner and caregiver access, care tracking, check-ins, media review, messages, milestones, reports, and exports.
  • Send clinic-directed service communications and respond to product, support, privacy, and security requests.
  • Prevent abuse, investigate incidents, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Create aggregated or de-identified insights that do not identify an individual.
  • Measure which advertising leads to clinic signups when you allow optional ad measurement.

Vet Aftercare does not use customer records to train general-purpose models unless a customer expressly agrees in writing.

4. Sharing and service providers

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate Vet Aftercare, such as hosting, authentication, communications, file storage, monitoring, customer support, and payment providers. They may process information only for the services they provide to us and subject to appropriate restrictions.

When you allow optional ad measurement, we share the limited measurement information described above with Google. We do not use this setup to build personalized-ad audiences from clinic or owner activity.

Information may be processed outside your province, state, or country, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws. Clinics can contact us for current information about material providers or processing locations applicable to their use.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, in connection with a corporate transaction, or when you direct or consent to the disclosure. We do not sell personal information for money.

5. Retention and safeguards

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services, follow clinic instructions, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by record type, contract, and clinic instruction.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, loss, and destruction. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to or correction of personal information, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, object to certain uses, or request deletion. Legal, clinical-record, security, or contractual exceptions may apply.

When a clinic controls a recovery record, we may refer your request to that clinic or assist the clinic in responding. You may opt out of promotional email using the method in the message; necessary service and security notices may still be sent.

Vet Aftercare is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through this website.

Email preferences

Daily check-in reminder emails are optional. Pet owners can stop them through the link in a reminder email without signing in, or change their choice under More in the owner portal. Stopping reminders applies to the same email address at that clinic across recovery plans; it does not cancel a care plan, delete recovery records, or prevent the owner from submitting updates.

Optional clinic-setup reminders and Vet Aftercare product news and offers have separate choices. Agreeing to our terms, creating an account, or accepting a recovery plan does not by itself subscribe you to marketing. Where we ask for consent, these choices are optional and are not selected in advance. You can withdraw consent using the unsubscribe method in the email or by contacting support@vetaftercare.com.

We record consent and withdrawal choices, their date, source and wording version, and a clinic-scoped recipient identifier to apply preferences and demonstrate how a choice was obtained. We may retain limited suppression records to avoid restarting unwanted email when another plan is created. We also process delivery failures and complaints to prevent further unsuccessful or unwanted delivery.

We apply unsubscribe requests without delay. A message already being delivered may still arrive. Stopping optional reminders or marketing does not stop separately necessary account, security, payment, or requested service communications where permitted by law. We do not add promotional content to those messages to bypass a marketing preference.

7. Contact us

For privacy questions, access or correction requests, complaints, or current mailing instructions, use our protected contact form and choose Privacy request. Do not include patient records or urgent clinical information in the form.

We may update this policy as Vet Aftercare and applicable requirements evolve. Material changes will be communicated through the website or service as appropriate.
